چکیده
Optical imaging through scattering media is a long-standing challenge. Although many approaches have been developed to focus light or image objects media, they are either invasive, restricted stationary slowly-moving require high-resolution cameras and complex algorithms retrieve the images. Here we introduce computational technique that can overcome these restrictions by exploiting spatial-temporal encoded patterns (STEP). We present non-invasive with single-pixel photodetector. show method insensitive motions of media. further demonstrate our reconstruction algorithm much more efficient than correlation-based for imaging, which may allow fast in currently unreachable scenarios.

Optical imaging through scattering media via magnetically modulated fluorescence.
A weak (< 1000 G) magnetic field can influence photochemical processes through its effect on electron spin dynamics in a photogenerated radical pair. In a solution of pyrene and dimethylaniline this effect manifests as magnetic field-dependent exciplex fluorescence. Here we describe magnetofluorescence imaging (MFI). A localized magnetic null defines a fluorescence detection volume, which is sc...

We develop and experimentally test a method for three-dimensional imaging of hidden objects in a scattering medium. In our scheme, objects hidden between two biological tissues at different depths from the viewing system are recovered, and their three-dimensional locations are computed. Analogous to a fly's two eyes, two microlens arrays are used to observe the hidden objects from different per...

In most biological tissues, light scattering due to small differences in refractive index limits the depth of optical imaging systems. Two-photon microscopy (2PM), which significantly reduces the scattering of the excitation light, has emerged as the most common method to image deep within scattering biological tissue. This technique, however, requires high-power pulsed lasers that are both exp...

Optical microscopy in complex, inhomogeneous media is challenging due to the presence of multiply scattered light that limits the depths at which diffraction-limited resolution can be achieved. One way to circumvent the degradation in resolution is to use speckle- correlation-based imaging (SCI) techniques, which permit imaging of objects inside scattering media at diffraction-limited resolutio...

The accuracy, precision and limitations of the imaging technique named Structured Laser Illumination Planar Imaging (SLIPI) have been investigated. SLIPI, which allows multiply scattered light to be diminished, has previously demonstrated improvements in image quality and contrast for spray imaging. In the current study the method is applied to a controlled confined environment consisting of a ...
